Team One intercept textile smugglers in Mukono

Jude Bellingham, 20 years young proved to be the difference in Club Football’s biggest fixture – the El Classico over the weekend. With just under 22 minutes to go, Real Madrid was still nowhere near victory let alone snatching a point from the encounter.

They had been outplayed, outwitted, outpassed, and most importantly outscored. Ilkay Gundogan the former Cityzen had carried his match-winning antics to the Catalonian dressing room putting one behind the net for Barcelona. The mood was dire for the Santiago Barnebaue faithful save for one man who has made it a habit to clinch matches from the gallows of defeat.

First was a nonchalant screamer to level the tie and then a poacher’s match winner that would make Diego Amis Kiiza proud. It was an archetypical almost-doesn’t-count scenario. Much like the scenario that happened on home soil when economic saboteurs smuggling textiles from the East thought they had made it home with their ‘mugano’ when they crossed into Mukono via the Kangulumira route.

Unbeknownst to them, our own Bellinghams were waiting for them and they delivered a pile driver for the ages. The stalemate indeed broke as the saboteurs could hardly substantiate their movement with uncustomed goods. Team One enforcement managed to deliver the truck of conveyance with its loot to the Nakawa Headquarters.

Verification of cargo conveyed on the subject truck Reg. No. UBA 52120 kgs of double face printed polycotton kitenge

URA appeals to every Ugandan to desist from scoring their own goal that is smuggling.
