The leadership of Mount Meru Petroleum Millers recently paid a courtesy visit to the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between taxpayers and the revenue body.
John Rujoki Musinguzi, the Commissioner General welcomed the delegation, emphasizing URA’s commitment to facilitating tax compliance.
“We have an open-door policy for our taxpayers. We listen to your concerns and work together to ensure seamless compliance,” he said
Mount Meru Millers’ CEO Ghosh Syvrajit, expressed appreciation for URA’s receptive stance.
“We value this opportunity to engage with URA and reaffirm our commitment to contributing to Uganda’s national development,” Syvrajit affirmed.
Accompanying the CEO, were FC Rajiv Chand and Daniel Mushabe, the Manager at Mount Meru Millers. The visit demonstrated a productive relationship between URA and its stakeholders promoting voluntary compliance.
