In a bid to clear the misconception around the President ‘s directive on suspension of penalties for non-compliance to EFRIS, the use of EFRIS has not been stopped.
This directive specifically applies to persons in general trade, notably in Kikuubo and similar business hubs across the country. URA will continue guiding taxpayers on the journey to on-board onto EFRIS. The business community is therefore encouraged to continue using EFRIS and enjoy benefits of stock management, sales management, return filing, and refund management.
