UPDATE ON THE URA ONLINE ASSESSMENT

Reference is made to the ongoing recruitment process to fill various positions within Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) that were advertised in April 2021 and the online assessments that were conducted from 3rd to 5th January, 2022.

A total of 30,471 applicants attempted the online assessment while 11,946 did not attempt the assessment. The assessment was conducted through an independent service provider “Test Gorilla”-a Netherlands based Company.

Results for all those who participated in the assessment were provided to candidates immediately after the conclusion of the assesment via their respective individual email addresses.

URA extends its sincere appreciation to all the applicants who expressed interest in the advertised positions and wishes to inform the applicants and the general public of the following outcomes;-

Based on the performance of the candidates, the passmark for the assessment has been set at 40%. All candidates with this mark and above who also complied with the integrity checks will proceed to the second level of assessment.

Below is a detailed breakdown of the overall candidates’ performance;

  1.  10,235 candidates scored 40% and above and complied with the set integrity checks. They will proceed to the next assessment. The date and time will be communicated through their provided email addresses.
  2. 11,871 candidates scored below 40% and unfortunately, they do not qualify to proceed to the next stage of assessment.
  3. 8,365 candidates were disqualified for malpractice/failure to comply with instructions and/or failure to pass the integrity check. Test Gorilla will provide the details to the affected candidates in this category.

Lists of the above will be uploaded on the URA website under careers>>experiential hiring>>aptitude results.

URA congratulates all the successful candidates and wishes them the best of luck in the next stage of the assessment.
