URA recently participated in the Top 100 Mid-sized Companies Gala, where they awarded various companies that were recognized in the Top 100 Mid-sized Companies survey.
The Gala, which was premised on “SMEs Shaping the Future Business Landscape,” follows the Top 100 Mid-sized Companies survey, which seeks to identify Uganda’s fastest-growing medium-sized companies and showcase business excellence.
The survey also highlights some of Uganda’s most successful entrepreneurship stories. This program, according to Nation Media, has helped SMEs grow and graduate to the top 100 annually, making it a significant event for the business community.
This year’s event was officiated by the Minister of State for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, David Bahati, who advised SMEs to adopt good corporate governance and management practices.
The Top 100 Mid-Sized Companies Galas and surveys are both initiatives of Nation Media Group and KPMG, an audit firm.
