Sigulu smugglers “celebrated” in style on the International Women ’s Day

As hundreds of women flocked Sanga in Kiruhura yesterday to mark the Women ’s day celebrations, smugglers were hatching tricks to escape on water. However, because of the vigilance of the Sigulu team in Namayingo district, their bubble was burst.

The URA team had already received intelligence reports of a boat that had been loaded with goods from Kenya heading to Buvuma District. According to Mjr. Denis Ben Oyoo, they deployed immediately and within no time, the said boat was intercepted at Lubia in Buvuma.
